As Ralph Waldo Emerson once famously said, “Life is a journey, not a destination.” I believe this to be true. Anyone who knows me for more than a few minutes knows that I have an awe-inspiring sense of life and prefer to live it to its fullest. We are not promised tomorrow. That said, photography has been an impassioned outlet for me as I seek to live and to capture life in the big moments and the moments in between, when no one is looking.

As a mom of three boys (4 if you count my husband), life is crazy, messy and absolutely beautiful. Even my dog is a boy. But despite all the testosterone in my house, I love my boys more than life itself. Truly. Like it’s borderline unhealthy the amount of love I carry in my body for those 3 humans I created. And truthfully, I am in awe that I ever got the chance.

I owe everything I am to God first and foremost and pray to glorify Him through this crazy, jumbled, beautiful mess that is my life. It’s not perfect. It’s not pretty. But it is mine… and for that I am eternally thankful.
